Advice and Support

We have dedicated Fast Stream Account Managers who are former Fast Streamers themselves and so have first-hand experience of the issues and problems you face. They are happy to help you with a wide array of invaluable advice about the programmes or any aspect of your development. It can be something as simple as deciding whether a course is right for you, to how best to make a business case to attend a familiarisation visit to Brussels. Our teaching staff and methods

All our work is shaped by our special place in government, and our programmes are developed by teaching staff with many years' experience in their subject. Programme content is continuously refreshed and reflects the current, practical reality of working in government, while also encompassing PSG requirements.

Our teaching methods include practical simulated exercises, e-learning, teaching, and discussion sessions. Discussion often involves external experts, including ministers, Members of Parliament, serving officials and some of the country's leading academic observers of the environment and machinery of government.

Our speakers

As an organisation that is part of government, we have unique access to those at the centre. This spans Westminster, Whitehall and the devolved administrations and includes Ministers, Private Offices, policymakers and strategists in addition to leading political historians and academics. Our speakers in policy and government are of a consistently high calibre and contribute the voice of hard-earned experience together with the latest thinking and comment on what is happening on-the-ground.
