National School of Government Balanced Scorecard

The National School of Government introduced a balanced scorecard approach to managing performance in 2009.

Our balanced scorecard defines what success means for the National School of Government. It identifies the four key objectives we will pursue to help us achieve our vision. These objectives remain fixed year on year and have been agreed with the leadership of the Civil Service. It is by meeting these objectives that we will fulfil the needs of our core customers.

The scorecard also sets out the key targets we will pursue in a given year to help us meet our fixed objectives. These targets form the basis for everything we do in the National School. Our balanced scorecard for 2009-10 is below.
