What we do

We’re well known for our open learning courses and our leadership development programmes for the Senior Civil Service. However, we now provide a range of other services that our clients want, including tailored programmes, consultancy, coaching, e-learning, and event management. Together, these services have grown to account for half of our business.

Whether you need to develop leaders, stimulate innovation, promote diversity, improve skills in policy or the key professions, or address specific challenges arising from Government priorities, we can help you.

Our faculty of experts works with over 400 associates - top thinkers and academics from industry, business schools and universities - to deliver what you require.

Come to us - at our campus in Sunningdale, our facilities in central London, or to our Virtual School on the web – or we can come to you.

Open courses
We offer a broad range of courses (some 300 in all) designed specifically to help public servants enhance their skills, knowledge, ability and networks – from short courses to longer term development programmes - and all quality assured.

Consultancy and tailored programmes
We can bring tailored versions of our programmes, and unique courses created to your specification, direct to you - often for less than you might think.

We can also help you unlock more effective performance within teams or organisations through leadership development, coaching, and events.

e-Learning and the Virtual School
We can help you deliver powerful interactive learning online, or create an online community that reaches across government.

Our Virtual School offers a wealth of e-learning programmes – covering topics from management skills to protecting information - many of which are free.

It is bringing together cross-departmental teams and creating new understanding.

Civil Service Core Learning Programme
We have been commissioned by the Civil Service Capability Board (formerly the Civil Service Learning and Skills Board) to develop a unique programme of learning and development with the Civil Service primarily for the Civil Service.

It will cover the essential areas of leadership, talent development, professions, government priorities and Civil Service skills.

Together we will set new standards.
