Our work includes past and present experience in each of the following:
Developing countries
In Africa, Asia and the Caribbean, we work on projects that have focused on improving the capacity of their governments to develop and implement policies that contribute to improved governance, human rights and poverty alleviation.
Transition countries
In central and eastern Europe, the Balkans and the territories of the former Soviet Union, we work with government administrations seeking to align themselves with European standards and ease the transition to market economies and pluralist democracies.
Conflict affected countries
We have substantial experience of working in post conflict counties to what is of overriding value such as helping to rebuild government administrations. This includes project working in the Balkans, Sierra Leone, Afghanistan and Iraq.
Overseas Territories
We work with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and Department for International Development (DfD) to promote the ethics and integrity agenda in the Overseas Territories of Bermuda and the Caribbean and in the Turks and Caicos Islands to build leadership capacity and develop a human resources function. We are about to begin a major scoping study across all Territories of the Caribbean, Bermuda and South Atlantic to support improved accountability, transparency and good governance.
