On 13 November 2006, the Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF) published a report
(British-Pakistani men from Bradford: linking narratives to policy) which
"gathers insights, experiences and narratives from a group of young
men that shed light on being a Bradfordian of Pakistani and Muslim heritage.
It also highlights the policy context surrounding the men's attitudes toward
various facets of their lives, including marriage, family, work, the city
in general, and the neighbourhood in which they live. It will be of interest
to a wide ranging audience with an interest in issues such as ethnicity,
identity, community and cohesion including policy makers, politicians and
practitioners." [website]
