Policy makers and analysts may want to know about the 5th Campbell Colloquium on Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis, to be held in Lisbon on 23-25 February, 2005. The Campbell Collaboration is an international network of analysts, policy makers and practitioners that prepares, maintains and disseminates systematic reviews of the effectiveness of interventions in the areas of education, crime and justice, and social welfare.
The theme of this year's Colloquium will be 'Supply and Demand for Evidence' and represents a further move by the Campbell Collaboration towards aligning systematic review work with the needs of policy makers, practitioners, and other users of evidence. There will be sessions organised by people from the UK and other governments, as well as from major academic institutions from across the world.
