HM Treasury have published two cross-cutting reviews
A summary of the Cross-cutting Review of Tackling Health Inequalities has been published by HM Treasury and Department of Health. This sets out the Government's long-term strategy to reduce health inequalities and provides the basis of a cross-Government delivery plan for tackling these.
The Cross-cutting Review of the Labour Market has been published by HM Treasury . This identifies the main trends affecting the size and composition of the public sector workforce over the period 2002 to 2007, and the skills required for the successful delivery of public services, in particular in relation to the NHS, education, the criminal justice system, defence and social services.
