Over two-thirds of government services
now online
On 15 December 2003 the
Office of the e-Envoy published the fourth UK Online annual report.
Highlights include:
- Over two-thirds of government services are now online
- 96% of Britain's population is aware of a place where they can
access the internet, either at home, at work, through mobile technology,
or at a public access point; there are now over 6,000 UK online
centres.
- 80% of the population have access to a mass-market broadband
service
