2003 Scottish Health Survey results

On 29 November 2005, the Scottish Executive published results from the 2003 Scottish Health Survey. These show that fewer Scots are dying prematurely from the big three killers of cancer, heart disease and stroke. However, Scotland is facing major issues such as rising obesity levels and increased alcohol consumption particularly among women, and smoking and alcohol consumption among 15 year olds is on the increase.
