This report, published by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs, reviews the public pension schemes and the pension models used for the detailed forecasts of age-related expenditure carried out by the European Commission.
The report aims to contribute to the comparability of pension projections across member states and to make these projections transparent and more understandable through country-specific descriptions of the pension systems and models used as part of the overall projection exercise.
