New approaches to policy making
Four new guides
Four new policy making guides covering programme management, regional perspectives, front-line
staff and public involvement were published by the Cabinet Office
on 31 October 2002.
The studies follow the first ever survey last year of departmental approaches to innovative
policy-making and reported in Better Policy-Making.
- Improving Programme and Project Delivery
The research draws on five case studies to illustrate the practice
and benefits of applying programme and project management discipline
and techniques to policy-making
