On 14 March 2007, Canadian Policy Research Networks (CPRN) published a presentation given that day at the Conference on public policy: making connections - building capacity, at St. John’s, Newfoundland . It says that the policy research capacity of governments in Canada has been systematically reduced over the last decade and suggests how to restore that strength in government.
