On 13 February 2008, the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) published a report (OECD Improving school leadership activity) which provides an overview of school leadership in Australia as a contribution to the OECD’s forthcoming international comparative report on school leadership.
The report looks closely at school governance; the links between leadership and learning outcomes; the attractiveness of the leadership role; and training and development for school leaders.
