On 13 March 2008, Canadian Policy Research Networks (CPRN) published a report (Implementing the school-to-work transition in Québec) which explores the relationship between education and the economy in Québec. More specifically, the report looks at the measures adopted by the Québec educational establishment to support and facilitate interactions between education, work and employment.
The report’s analysis is presented in three phases: a review of the organisation of the Québec school system; a brief history of instances in which measures were adopted or institutionalised linking education, work and employment; and a description of the various measures in greater detail, assessing the degree to which they have been implemented.
