On 2 November 2006, the Department of Health (DH) and Home Office (HO) published a report (The needs and effective treatment of young people who sexually abuse: current evidence) which draws on various sources to provide a baseline of evidence on the needs and effective treatment of young people who display sexually abusive behaviour. The aim is to provide an overview of the current literature and thinking around these behaviours and treatments for them.
