Services for young adults with complex needs

On 24 November 2005, the Social Exclusion Unit published a report (Transitions: young adults with complex needs) which identifies three themes: the importance of taking into account the thinking and behaviour of young adults; the problems associated with age boundaries of service provision; and the benefits of holistic services and the role of the trusted adult.
The report has 27 changes to policy and guidance within these themes which will improve service delivery to young adults and improve their life chances.

The full report can be viewed oin the SEU website.
