For Civil Servants the PSG framework sets out the underpinning skills required in your current job and areas to focus on when aiming for promotion. For the first time, it brings together professional recognition for the skills and experiences of staff previously thought of as 'generalists' or 'specialists'. The skills set out in this framework are eminently suitable for those who work in other parts of the public sector too.

Additional components will be added to PSG in various phases between 2008 and 2012, including new skills for middle level and junior staff. What ever level you work at, you will find our programmes can help you acquire and extend these vital skills.
